CORE PURPOSE
To provide support and assistance to the Curriculum Development and Management Department by assisting with the various processes and administration wrt existing programmes and modules within the department to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.
CORE FUNCTIONSÂ
- Coordinate module and programme reviews for Existing Programmes in line with the Institution’s vision and mission
- Compile and manage Programme Information Sheets and Curriculum Structures
- Maintain Prescribed Textbooks and Recommended Readings Lists
- Coordinate and manage module guide updates and rewrites processes via the Curriculum Development Management System (CDMS)
- Development of forms, templates, and guideline documents
- Recruit and contract module updaters, writers, and moderators
- Prepare and submit payments
- Maintain tracking reports for Existing Programmes processes
- Provide administrative support to the Curriculum Development and Management Department
Formatting of Module Guides, Curriculum Structures, and Programme Information Sheets
- Perform formatting and layout editing on Module Guides, Curriculum Structures, and Programme Information Sheets
- Maintaining presentation quality and consistency of Module Guides, Curriculum Structures, and Programme Information Sheets
- Check and sign-off on Module Guides sent to the printers
- Adhering to production deadlines
Multimedia ProjectÂ
- Play a key role in the digitization of Module Guides
- Digitize new and old module guides, perform quality checks, sign – off, and publish Multimedia Guides
MANCOSA Student SuccessÂ
- Employ effective project and time management strategies to ensure that students receive module guides on time
Regulatory BodiesÂ
- Prepare for and ensure attendance at any site visits relating to the academic programmesÂ
- Participate in any regulatory body activityÂ
- Ensure Compliance with regulatory standards
GeneralÂ
- Adhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions, and tasks
- Assist and attend institution functions as and when required
- Assist with Graduation
Professional Development
- Engage in ongoing professional development by independently studying to upgrade knowledge field of expertise
- Actively participate in staff development initiatives offered by the institution
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: Degree
- Preferred Qualification: Honours
Experience
- Essential experience: At least 1-2 year’s higher education work experience, and understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance
